Adam, Me and the Puppy

It was a pleasant autumn day
the breeze sent trees to sway
that was when he came to me
with adam, it was the puppy

Adam, I had always told you
NO DOGS, dont you get my view?
if you get to choose amongst,
who do you want? me or your pet?

A cute and cunning smile is his answer
should I let in a hound for flatter?
hope he soon gets my perspective
or I give the puppy an olive

wont leave Adam, for he is misled
about the dog? dont bother your head

Silent Emotions

My nights are killed by the absent moon
dams of reason blocking tears soon
cant spend a moment sans worries of day
ignorant of what lacks, will or the way.

These days I play chess with almighty
castling my heart when emotions sway slightly
I ask him why my love is put to test,
he says "please continue without unrest".

Some days i see oases in my barren chest
holy water eludes before quenching my thirst
questions self - why did you start the journey?
a drop of hope says - its sets your life's story.

Peaks get steeper as I approach Olympus
I am no Magellan, neither Columbus
why cant i just forget these as a dream?
But I gave my blood once to live this dream.
